A free fundraising day that your students will remember forever
We specialize in preserving memories through music. The process of recording an album with your students is both enjoyable and rewarding. The finished product can be utilized by your school as a fundraising tool. When working with us, you can expect a positive impact on both the school and the students. The following provides additional information about our approach and the benefits of our services.
Orchestrating your day
The first step is to arrange a date for us to visit your school by picking a day that’s convenient for you and enough time to generate interest among parents.
Once the day is booked, we work with you to plan what music will be recorded. While students have the freedom to choose the songs to record, we can help. We provide a list of popular songs that have been selected in the past, along with backing tracks and lyric sheets for each one.
Our approach encourages the musicians among your students to perform either instead of, or in addition to backing tracks.
Raising funds for your school
The recording day is offered at no cost. The school’s only requirement is a minimum order of 50 Songbooks, (read about Songbooks here). The more copies you purchase, the lower the price per unit, which increases the school’s fundraising potential. For a detailed breakdown of the costings and what you will earn click here.
You don’t need to decide how many to order until after the recording has taken place. This is to ensure that additional orders will come through as students share their experience with their families.
Drumming interest
We will collaborate with you to promote the album, providing professionally written letter templates for you to distribute to parents to increase awareness. The greater the awareness we generate, the more funds we will be able to raise.
In addition to raising interest among parents, we will also work to generate excitement among students. We will provide an artwork template for students to create their own designs, and the winning design will be featured on the cover of the album.
Making your voice heard
On the day of recording, we’ll be in your school by 8:30am and ready to record by 9am. All members of our team have undergone DBS checks and will bring proof of this with them. If your school has a hall, it would be an ideal location for recording. If not, we can use a classroom.
Our team is composed of professional audio engineers and we utilize state-of-the-art equipment to capture the voices of your students. The recorded music will then be transferred to our recording studio for the next stage of the process.
Creating a radio worthy album
After the music has been recorded, our engineers will mix and master it, using industry-standard techniques to ensure that your school album has comparable sound quality to the music heard on the radio. We will handle the copyright registration process on your behalf and package the recordings as a digital album.
Each copy of the album is redeemed through a unique code, unlocking a one time download and unlimited streaming. The code is presented in a Songbook, which includes the track-list, student artwork and puzzles! The Songbooks are delivered directly to the school. Click here to view an example.
